Welcome to the start of the winter 2014 semester in the Faculty of Education at Memorial University.If you are reading this it means you have found our class blog for Education 3940. Please check this blog on a regular basis as I will be using it in conjunction with our face to face time together. I will not be posting "class lectures" on the blog as Education 3940 is not really a lecture course at all. That is to say, it is not a transmission of information course full of facts to be memorized. In order to learn about the teaching and learning of mathematics as you prepare to become primary/elementary teachers, you will need to spend time reflecting, reading, discussing, thinking, and doing.
